Professionals in this industry are rare, although many would have you believe otherwise. I had the opportunity to interview Dani Jelley of Danelle Alexis Photography. I first worked with Dani at Aaron and Samantha’s wedding reception at Castle Hill Winery - Versailles, KY in mid 2009.
 

Samantha and Aaron added a few personal touches to make their wedding a truly amazing experience, and Dani was there to capture them all. Dani was nice enough to allow me to showcae some of her work which you can see featured here at Daniel David Weddings. 

Dani, how long have you been a photopgraher?

“I have been a photographer 3 years,  but I have been an artist for 29 years”

Why do you love being a photographer?

“I love people and I love art. I cherish relationships most of all and the best way to remember the greatest moments we share with people is through photography. If I can capture and present those moments in a unique and powerful way-I've accomplished my goal.”

That is great. It is rare to find a professional who wants to connect to each and every client…when do you feel most connected to your clients?

“When we're all laughing and the camera seems like a natural thing to have around.”

Any tips, or helpful information you wish to provide to couples that are looking for a wedding photographer?

“Always ask to see a portfolio of an entire wedding. Most times we display our best work which is only a few photos from a wedding. You want to make sure they produce quality images all day long.”
